Where to visit
Regardless if you’re visiting from out of town or not, make sure to explore a few of our favorite spots. Each one holds a special place in our hearts.
-
This beautiful, tiny, gem is connected to the very first gift Brandon gave Anastasia. Make sure to visit the Ana Scripts Conservatory next door as well.
-
The Detroit institute of Arts. Don’t sleep on this world class art museum if you haven’t been already (or even if you have).
-
The best handmade chocolates to come home with. Make sure to visit their Canfield location. It’s our favorite :)
-
IYKYK.
Okay we’ll tell you. Before we started dating, Anastasia was out boating with friends on the Detroit River when they anchored to take in the sunset. And wouldn’t you know it, Brandon was hanging on Belle Isle Beach taking in that very same sunset. Later, we found Brandon in the background of Anastasia’s photos from that day in the summer of 2020. Check out Belle Isle Beach or Sunset Point for unbeatable city views.

It took us about two months after we started dating because of the pandemic, but we had our first drink out together on the back patio in the blistering cold here. Most of the photos throughout this website were shot at Ottawa Via as well.

-Garlic Shrimp
-Ragout alla Bolognese

Breakfast here always hits. Anastasia personally loves the housemade sausage hash. If you stop here for breakfast, make sure to pop into Bon Bon Bon in the same building.
-
Hungover? You can’t beat The Classic Chicken Sandwich, and OMFG, their Honey Butter Biscuits (DUNK’D) are unlike anything you’ve ever indulged in. Eat these over drinks at The Brakeman.
-
The best pizza in the world. No joke.
Our top picks here include…
-Rucola Salad
-The San Gennaro
-The Supino
