How we met
Michigan. March, 2020.
We match on Bumble, but the virus had other plans. Fast forward 8 months later. A shared playlist brings us back into each others orbits and we finally meet for coffee and a chilly November walk.
It was clear from the start that we had lost time to make up for. By then, Anastasia was getting ready for a cross country move to Southern California. Two weeks later, Brandon knew without a doubt he was driving with her. Between now and then there’s been countless FaceTimes, accumulated SkyMiles, road trips, train rides, an engagement in Poland, and a second cross country road trip for Brandon’s move out west. Southern California is now home and we’re still enjoying our walks, but they’re thankfully far less chilly.

The Proposal
Rzeszów, Poland. July 19, 2021.
Brandon wrote a proposal song and played it on his grandfather’s guitar in a beautiful small park where he asked Anastasia to marry him. It was a perfect moment, shared in the most special place.
